Mohanlal will be honoured with Doctorate Degree

Famous Sankaracharya University of Sanskrit in Kalady has unanimously decided to honour superstar Mohanlal and Oscar award winner Resul Pookutty with D Litt. Sanskrit scholar M J Sastrikal will also be conferred with the Doctorate. The decision has been taken by the University syndicate.

Education Minister of the Kerala State, M.A. Baby said: “The decision has been taken following their outstanding performances in their respective fields. The syndicate of the university has cleared the proposal and now it has to be cleared by the Senate”.


Mohalal known for his outstanding contribution to movie through his impeccable performance and Resul Pookutty through his contribution to the sound organization in famous movies like Slumdog Millionaire definitely deserve this award.
